Alfresco Group Groundbreaking - Stradford21 Hotel Tuesday, September 21, 2021 9:00 am - 9:45 am

Alfresco Group’s announcement of Phase I development of a new boutique hotel property, the Stradford21 hotel. This significant property will commemorate J.B. Stradford and the original hotel at 301 N. Greenwood that was destroyed in the 1921 Race Massacre. At the time, it was the largest Black-owned and operated, black-guest-only hotel in America. The company will break ground on the hotel in September, followed by other developments in the future. 

 

The groundbreaking will be held at the Southwest corner of 36th North MLKB, directly across from Westview Clinic.
